Mrs. Geraldine “Jerry” Price Rountree, 80 of Naylor passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Pruitt Health in Valdosta after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Rountree was born July 21, 1939 to the late Franklin Price and Berta Griffin Kidwell and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James Thomas Rountree of Naylor; daughters, Sandra Horne of Lake Park, Donna McMillan of Valdosta, and Tammy (Jeffery) Hayes of Adel; four grandchildren, Rich (Ashley) McMillan of Hahira, Blake McMillan of Lake Park, Jamie Horne of Remerton, and Heather Horne of Lake Park; and five great grandchildren, Maddie McMillan, Ella McMillan, Severin McMillan, Kameron McCloud, and Khloe McCloud. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. John Page officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Good Hope Baptist Church.
