George Daniel “Jordan” McCormick, 21, of Tallahassee, joined his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brandon, Florida on December 19, 1997, Jordan came to Tallahassee in 1998 with his father and mother, Bruce Winfield McCormick and Karla Jann Trotman McCormick. Jordan treasured good books, movies, and music. He enjoyed nature and exploring God’s creation. He excelled at shooting sports, cars, motorcycles, and all things mechanical. He thrived on creating good food and experiencing life with family and friends. He cherished his family and most of all his daughter and her mother. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his daughter, Dain Kiera Storm McCormick; her mother, Darrian Swisher; siblings, Burklee, Seth-David, Aine, Jared, Rachel and Michael; and his grandparents, John and Shirley Trotman. A memorial service for Jordan will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Trinity Community Church 2285 Bannerman Road Tallahassee, Florida 32312 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.gofundme.com/f/jordan-mccormick-memorial-fund Online condolences may be expressed at www.abbeyfh.com.
