Obituary George A. Howard, 89 of Rockcastle County died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in Berea. Born December 28, 1929 in Hamilton, Ohio Son to the late George Herman and Helen Christoff Howard, George served in the United States Army during the Korean War, was a United States Postal worker for 46+ years and retired in October 1, 2004, and a husband, father and grandfather to his family. George is survived by two children, Janet Northern (Louie) and Dan Howard (Donna); one sibling, Ann Gullion; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Along with his parents, he is pre-deceased by one brother, Jack Howard. Per George’s wishes, cremation is accorded with a private burial in Walton, KY at a later date. Reppert Funeral Home and Cremation Service entrusted with arrangements.
