Gean Sterling “Nick” Wilkey, 79, of Bradford, died Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Royal, Arkansas surrounded by his family. He was born July 16, 1940 in Manila to the late Charles Henry Carter Wilkey and Blanche (Vernor) Wilkey. Nick attended the Church of God and owned and operated Specialist Metal roofing and siding for many years until his health would not allow him to work. He is survived by his children, Jeff Wilkey, Rai Chene Zeyloth (James), Nickie Kennedy (Danny) and Cindy Trent (Bobby); siblings, Mary Kis (Andy) of Jonesboro, Windell Wilkey (Becky) of Heber Springs, Bertha McCormick (Elroy) of Manila, Glenda Perkey (Morris) of Paragould, Barbara Warren (Bill) of Jonesboro, Linda Brewer (Doyle) of Jonesboro and Earlene Hicks of Bolingreen, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Blanche Wilkey; his beloved wife, Lois Dean Wilkey; daughter, Pamela Jo Robinson; siblings, Glen Wilkey, Leonard Whitehead, Junior Whitehead, Marvin Whitehead, Nellie Stone, Pauline Woods, Marie Gamble and Jerline McDowell. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob with visitation beginning an hour prior at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Oakland Hill Cemetery.
