Gary’s Obituary Gary Wayne Kollatschny passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Oct. 23, 2019. Gary was born in Sealy on October 11, 1950, to Leander and Ruby Kollatschny. Gary worked for Southwestern Bell for 32 years, retired, and came back home to Sealy. Gary was a beloved member of the community and served as the Animal Control Officer for the City of Sealy since 2004. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, his children Tracy Kollatschny Weeks and husband Wayne; Cory Kollatschny; Aubrey Kollatschny and wife Aubrey; Kari Kollatschy Colley and husband Aaron; David Morales and Alicia Kurie and Husband Tommy and 14 grandchildren. He also leaves behind brothers Leon Kollatschny and Curtis Kollatschny; sister Peggy Faircloth and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary’s wishes were that there be no services, but because of his passion for the animals, he requested that in place of flowers, donations be made in his memory to PUPS (Prevent Unwanted Pets) – 1884 Bostik Rd., Cat Spring, Tx 78933.
