Freddie’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Freddie Paul Lachney, Sr. will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Christian Family Worship Center, Marksville, with Reverend Ronnie Bergeron officiating. Interment will follow in Cushman Cemetery, Marksville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mr. Lachney, 75, of Hessmer, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette, LA. He was a native of Marksville and a “jack-of-all-trades”. He enjoyed music and singing, as a lifelong musician, who played the guitar and keyboard. He attended Christian Family Worship Center in Marksville and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Hazel Lachney. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Freddie Paul Lachney, Jr. and his wife, Jenny, of Ball; two daughters, Rene Aymond and her husband, Todd, of Kolin and Rhonda Lachney, of Mansura; four brothers, Jerald Lachney, of Hessmer, Michael Lachney, of Effie, Bruce Lachney, of Marksville and Billie Joe Lachney, of Baton Rouge; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
