Emily’s Obituary Emily Sue Tripp, 78, of Krum passed away on October 26, 2019 in Dallas. She was born on September 8, 1941 to Jodie and Elizabeth Saylors in Wichita, Kansas. Emily attended both the St. Joseph School of Nursing and Texas Wesleyan University. During her professional career she taught at the Tulane School of Nursing in New Orleans. She was the Group Vice President of Home Care and Hospice at the Visiting Nurse Association of Texas and finished her career as a Health Quality Consultant for the TMF Health Quality Institute. Emily was an amazing mother and friend, and brought happiness and love into the lives of all those that knew her. She will be sorely missed and will be remembered forever. She is survived by her sons; Chris Tripp of Krum, Byron Tripp and wife Michele of Anna, Texas, sister, Diane Saylors of Ft. Worth and 3 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and daughter in law. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.
