Gruber, 75, of Raleigh, NC passed away Tuesday October 15, 2019 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC after a period of failing health. She was born August 30, 1944 in Dover, NH, to the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Fitzpatrick) Murphy. She graduated St. Mary’s Academy in Dover NH and lived half of her life on Sixth Street in Dover before moving to Raleigh, NC in 1990. She worked and retired from EMC (formerly Data General) in both Portsmouth, NH and Apex, NC. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her favorite television programs, playing solitaire and caring for her dogs Otis, Murphy and Riley. She is survived by her husband, Frank Gruber; her two children, Kelley England and Christopher Doyon; and her granddaughter, Daenerys Fragopoulos. She requested to have no services and will be buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery in her hometown of Dover, NH. Print Obituary
