Lester age 75 of Goodland Township and formerly of Almont died October 23, 2019. He was born to Theodore and May Lester on September 16, 1944. He graduated from Almont High School Class of 1962. Edward served in the United States Army including a tour in Vietnam. He married Kay Maxon on June 6, 1970. Edward retired after more than 40 years at TRW in Washington Township. He loved to go camping, hunt deer and watch his grandkids. Edward is survived by his wife of 49 years and 2 children Julie (Ken) Boehlke and Michael Edward Lester, 5 grandchildren; Ashley (Joe) Bobzean, Trevor (Sadie) Boehlke, Courtney Kaufman, Hunter Michael Lester and Abigail Marie Enos. Also surviving are 5 siblings; Joyce Parks, David Lester, Barb Smith, Cheryl Lester and Rich Lester. He was preceded in death by a baby sister. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Monday November 4, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City. Military honors will be held at Burnside Township Cemetery. Print Obituary
