Eddie’s Obituary McDaniel, Rev. Eddie Joe, age 65, of Tellico Plains, passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday, October 24, 2019, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He began his ministry 34 years ago and was the pastor of 4 churches. His love was for his Lord, family, the mountains and hunting. Preceded in death by grandson, Corbin Debety, son-in-law, Darrell Powers, father and mother, Oscar and Betty McDaniel, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jessie and Edna Smith, uncle, Tommy Stalcup, papaw, Joby Stalcup. Survivors, wife of 47 years, Rita McDaniel, daughters and sons-in-law, Felicia Powers, Kristy McDaniel, Lexia and Michael Absher, Lori and Kevin Fritts, Rebecca McDaniel, Lindsey and Derrick Debety, son and daughter-in-law, Jeremiah and Jennifer McDaniel, son-in-law, Jeff McNabb, grandchildren, Brandi Powers, Alex Powers, Jake McNabb, Luke McNabb, Logan Debety, Jacob Debety, Jackson McDaniel, Jailyn McNabb, Arryson Debety, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, special aunt, Peggy Atkins. Funeral 7:00 P.M. Saturday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Rick Atkins and Rev. Gerald Lynn officiating. Interment 2:30 P.M. Sunday, Eleazar Cemetery, Rev. Derrick Debety officiating.
