Dorothy “Mrs. Scooch” (Kost) Ciccone, 87 of West Aliquippa passed away peacefully October 16, 2019. She was born December 12, 1931 in Sewickley and was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Kost. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis J. “Scooch” Ciccone, three brothers: Stanley (Dunna), John (Lena) and Walter, two sisters: Anne (John) and Olga (Raymond). Dorothy was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Crescent Twp. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards, especially with her grandchildren. Dorothy was the loving mother of two sons: Richard Ciccone and Kathy, David and his wife Pina (Colavecchia) Ciccone who Dorothy loved like a daughter. Four cherished grandchildren: Ricki Jayne & Corie Flores, Lindsey and Christopher Vallejos, Nicholas and Chalina Ciccone, Santino Ciccone and a great grandchild, Emerson Vallejos. Dorothy is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Cyndy Ciccone, a sister-in-law: Gail Kost and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday 4-7 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 15001 724-375-0496. Departing prayers will begin Saturday at 9:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
