WEST DANTE, VIRGINIA – Diana L. Salyers, 56, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019, in an automobile accident on Route 63 in Russell County, Virginia. She was born in Dante, Virginia; daughter of the late Darrell Salyers. She enjoyed cooking and baking in the kitchen and had a passion for her Tennessee Volunteers. She is survived by her mother; Loretta Salyers; one sister, Mitzi Fleming and husband, Johnny of Castlewood, Virginia; one brother, Gregory Salyers and wife, Linda of Dante, Virginia; two nephews, Brenton Salyers and Brett Salyers and wife, Krystal; three nieces, Brittney Salyers and husband, Mike, Caitlyn Smith and husband, Chris, and Cassidy Fleming; several great-nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sarah Stanley. Funeral Services for Diana L. Salyers will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Randy Noonchester and Ms. Terri Ann Funk officiating. Committal Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 6, 2019, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Pallbearers will be Brenton Salyers, Brett Salyers, Mike Blevins, Chris Smith, William Cooper, and Noah Patrick. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
