Obituary of Deborah Anne Schwartz Deborah A. (Snider) Schwartz, 67, of Syracuse, passed away on September 30, 2019. She is survived by: her loving husband of 40 years, Ed Schwartz; daughter, Melissa Schwartz, of Syracuse, NY; siblings: Christine (Jim) Buswell, of Queen Creek, AZ; Richard (Sharon) Snider, of Syracuse; Sherilynn Snider, of Phoenix, NY; Daniel (Kim) Snider, of Cary, NC; Lisa (Nick) Donahue, of Cumming, GA; Dora (Phil) Gooden, of Moravia, NY; Daniel Kackison, of Syracuse, NY; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She is predeceased by her parents: William “Bill” (Claire) Snider, and Irene (Smith) Schultz; and siblings: David and Doug Kackison. Debbie graduated from Onondaga Central High School in 1970. She worked in marketing for many years, before retiring from Unity Mutual Life Insurance Company. She loved spending time with family, and getting together with her Bunko Girls- who were friends from high school. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 3 to 6 pm, at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse, NY. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7, at 11 am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Debbie’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
