David Leon Tyner David Tyner, age 64 of Katy, TX passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 15, 1954 in Pensacola, Florida to Leon and Zelma Tyner. David graduated from Pensacola High School in 1972 and went on to University of Florida where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration. David enjoyed building model trains and loved pulling for the Florida Gators. His passion was his 1964 ½ Mustang, but he also enjoyed working on cars. David’s true love was his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tracie Tyner; sons, Jason Tyner, and Allen Tyner and wife Jen; sister, Phyllis Morrow and husband Leroy; two grandchildren, Dresden and Paris Tyner. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 11:00-12:00pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Almarante Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
