Clara Ann Calvert, 87 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. Clara was born on July 25, 1932 in Charlestown, IN to John and Anna May Schafer Eickholtz. She was a retired registered nurse having worked at Clark Memorial Hospital for 39 years and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jeffersonville. Clara is survived by her husband, Donald Calvert; sons, Jerry Lemmons (Tammy) of Memphis, IN and Kenny Lemmons (Tammy) of Charlestown, IN; step-children, Almarie Calvert of Jeffersonville, Tana Asad of LaGrange, KY, Guy Calvert of Louisville, KY and Charles Calvert of English, IN; brothers, Raymond Eickholtz of Charlestown, Richard Eickholtz of Indianapolis, IN, Dennis Eickholtz of Sellersburg, IN; sisters, Rita Hamerla of King of Prussia, PA, Agnes Withers of Louisville, Dorothy Dunn of Crawfordsville, IN and Mary Shields of Louisville; 17 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday November 4, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in St. Michaels Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am to 2 pm on Monday.
