Charlotte’s Obituary Charlotte Keyes Alday, 69, of Acworth, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Friday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Milton Knox officiating. Mrs. Alday was born in Opelousas, LA and raised in Collins, MS. She had lived in the Acworth/Kennesaw area since 1993. She had her BA degree in elementary education and was a member of First Baptist Church, Marietta. Surviving are her husband, Charles W. Alday of Acworth; sons, Geoffrey C. (Jennifer) Alday of Franklin, TN and John E. Alday of Smyrna; grandchildren, Olivia Alday and Logan Alday; sister, Shauna Garrett and niece, Mollie Garrett, both of Baton Rouge, LA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Fairview, TN 7310 Overby Rd. Fairview, TN 37062. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Friday afternoon from 12:30 until 2:00 at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133. Read More
