Carolyn Ann Kahara 2019

2019
Carolyn Ann Kahara, age 75, of Porterfield, passed away on October 26, 2019. She was born on April 12, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee. Carolyn was united in marriage to Darrel Kahara on December 10, 1966, in Chicago. Carolyn loved to travel with her husband and family. She was able to see the world and experience its beauty. Her stops included Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, South America, and any other destination her heart desired, especially if there was a casino included. Having a sister in Las Vegas made this very easy. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Darrel; sons, David and Steven (Bobbie); a granddaughter, Destiny; and her sister, Loretta (Richard) Cassin. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Young; her mother, Cora Mae (Dotson) Young; her brother, Lewis; sisters, Patricia, Cynthia and Mary. Friends may call at Community Lutheran Church, McAllister, from 9 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Paul Hueter officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Women of Unity Hospice for their loving care. Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home is assisting the family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Carolyn Ann Kahara 2019.
