Carol’s Obituary Carol Oliveto Marra PRICE-Carol Oliveto Marra passed away at the age of 75 on October 31, 2019 from complications due to Parkinson’s disease. She was born June 10, 1944 in Price, Utah to Ross and Annie Oliveto. She married her best friend Earl Marra in February of 1965. Carol is survived by her two daughters Machele (Shane Lemon) and Stephanie (Steve Oviatt) her grandson Nick and her niece Nikki (Rob Alt). She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Merlene, all of which she loved and adored deeply. Carol was an exceedingly compassionate woman who surrounded herself with wonderful friends from all walks of life. She spent her days doing what she loved most, spending time with and caring for her close family, friends, and her grandson Nick, the light of her life. Her family remembers her many holidays as an excellent cook with a specialty for baking. Carol enjoyed the time she spent with her bowling team as well as her annual trips to Wendover with her family. She will always be known for her devotion to charity and the well being of others. She held a strong belief in her faith and found great joy in assisting the church by serving in their funeral dinners. After many years as a mother, she returned to her education while working in the school system as a librarian, lunch clerk, and teachers aid. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelors in Education in 1986. Carol then went on to become a third grade teacher at Castle Heights Elementary where she remained for 26 years. Her family wishes all her students to know that not a year went by that she didn’t open her old yearbooks and reminisce about all her students. Heaven has truly gained a beautiful angel who will be missed dearly by all. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Vivian, Kelly, Misty and Brandy and her bowling league family. They also wish to offer their gratitude to Kelly, Shauna and all the Heirloom staff.
