Barbara Holly Griffin of 22 Shepard Street was called home on October 20th 2019. She was born in Springfield Massachusetts on December 25th, 1950. She was a beloved daughter to the late Warren and Edith Dunham. She left us to join her two daughters and grandson Kimberly A. Mann, Andrea L. Griffin and Andrew J. Mann. She is survived by four brothers George Dunham, Warren Dunham, John Dunham and David Dunham. She also leaves behind her only living daughter Holly M. Pray, as well as, nine grandchildren; Kyle R. Metcalfe, Kaila M. Metcalfe, Shaun A. Mann, Ty J. Mann, Jacqueline E. Pray, Gregory J. Pray, Cora A. Pray, Ethan A. Geddis and Amanda L. Barta. She also leaves behind six great-grandchildren Gabriella M. Boucher, Jason J. Moran, Paisleigh H. Bragg, Dahlia R. Bragg, Rylan A. Pray Badillo and Levi A. Mann. Barbara grew up in West Springfield for a majority of her life until moving to Pennsylvania. She returned home to take care of her eldest daughter who was diagnosed with cancer. She was a strong, charismatic and loving person. She worked as a CNA for over a decade and helping people was a part of her life. Her family was everything to her. Services will be private and open to immediate family only. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of all services.
