Alexia’s Obituary Alexia Jean Morris, 58, of Hampstead, NC., was born on June 18th, 1961 in Roaring Springs, PA and passed away at UNC Hospital on October 12, 2019 after a brief battle with leukemia. She put up a good fight. Alexia was born to Janet (Mother) and Arlie Hart (Father, who preceded her in death). Alexia was a Real Estate Broker for 32 years in the Wilmington and surrounding areas. Alexia graduated from Northern Bedford High School where she was a member of the basketball, volleyball and softball teams. She graduated from Indiana Univ. of PA. Alexia loved long walks on the beach with her toes in the sand; she loved reading books and playing with her dog. Alexia enjoyed traveling to new places and experiencing the taste of local wines along the way. She is survived by husband, Tony; mother, Janet; five brothers: Arlie Vance II (Sheryl), Victor, Nathaniel (Tammy), Todd (Liliana), and Raymond (Tina); two sisters, Annette Walls (Larry), and Tonya Tenley(Mike); brother-in-law, Andy Morris(Toy); sister-in-law, Beth Lewis(Danny) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephew and many friends. A memorial will be held for Alexia on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the evening at 338 Sea Manor Drive, Surf City.
