Obituary of William E. Gallo William E. Gallo, age 44, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Martha Jimenez Gallo, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Born on October 24, 1974 in Bogota, Colombia, he was the son of Isabella Cortes Gaffney and Ernesto Gallo. A graduate of Stratford High School, William went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Connecticut. He was currently an electrical engineer with Frontier Communications. Will loved spending time with his family, running, exercising outdoors, and dancing with his wife, Martha. He was an avid soccer fan. Whether coaching his son, Christian, or fervently rooting for the Colombian national team, he would never miss a game. He was a devoted husband, father, and son and a loyal friend. Throughout his life, Will was a generous and kind person who never hesitated to help someone in need. The memories that the family created and the unconditional love Will gave will always live in their hearts forever. He will be truly missed. In addition to his beloved wife Martha, his mother Isabella and his step father Kenneth Gaffney, survivors include his cherished and adored son Cristian Gallo, aunts, Marlen Cortes, Claudia Cortes and Clemencia Cortes, mother-in-law, Priscilla Cely, dear friends, Jeremy LeMoult, Christopher Merolla, Ron Mercado and John Brunt, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law and many friends. The family also wishes to thank the entire Frontier team for their friendship and support during this time. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an education fund to benefit William’s son.
