Wilfrid Pun, 69, passed away at Stamford Hospital September 25, 2019. He was born September 28, 1949 in Haiti Port-Au-Prince to Earnie Remy and the late Hasu Pun. Wilfrid was a loving son, a wonderful husband to Catheline Pun of 32 years, father, and a friend. His time was always devoted to family and friends. Wilfrid moved to Stamford in 1991, and for the past 25 years he worked at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center as a Dietary Aide. During his down time he was also a technician for the residence of Stamford. He was a self-less man who made sure that everyone else was comfortable. Wilfrid is survived by his beloved wife Catheline, and his eight children Wilson Pun, Edens Pun, Angelique Pun- Morandy, James Pun, Sandra Pun, Widnie Pun, Willeen Pun, Juniareen Pun, along with two adopted daughters Grace Etienne(Lauryn) and Mayechele Etienne (Maya); and nine grandchildren. Loved by his siblings; Tony Pun, Jack Remy, Eve Remy, and Nicole Remy. The family will be receiving the condolences and sympathy of family and friends on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 4pm to 8pm at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. His funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 10:30am, at the Church of Saint Cecilia, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford Connecticut, 06905. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, 230 Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905.
