Wayne R. Munz, 73, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully at his home Monday September 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Wayne retired as Senior Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy after 25 years of service. Preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Munz and sister Cheryl Soto. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marcia Munz of the home; one son, Mike Sharpe and wife Crystal of Hope Mills, North Carolina; one daughter, Kelly Stevenson of Dorris, California; one sister, Donna Shoemaker and husband Buddy of Mauldin, South Carolina; one brother Gery Munz and wife Celeste of Simpsonville, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Katelyn and Tristan; and five great grandchildren, Merrick, Parker, Paisley, Granger and Arielle.
