Of Waltham, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning September 22nd, 2019 surrounded by her loving family in her home at the age of 93. Born on May 27, 1926 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti; daughter of the late Christian J. Dyer and Marie (Fildor) Dyer. Simone immigrated to the United States from Haiti in the late 1960’s and resided in South Miami for many years before moving to Boston & Waltham, Massachusetts. Simone was employed as a Seamstress throughout her life. She had a passion for sewing and stitching. She had a strong love for her God and attended church regularly. She enjoyed listening to music and most especially spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Alfred Blaise. Simone is survived by her devoted & loving children Guy Blaise of Florida; Maryse Blaise of Waltham; Yolaine Binard of Wisconsin; Magali Andre of Waltham; Donald Blaise of Canada; Simone Bamba of Tewksbury and Alfred Blaise of Haiti; and her dear 97 year old sister Marthe Dumont of Canada. In addition she is survived by her 9 cherished grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Simone’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday morning Sept. 28th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Read Less To send flowers in memory of Simone M.
