Jody A. Dill

Attica - Jody Ann Dill, 70, Attica, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Attica on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 11:04 a.m.
Jody was born in Williamsport, Indiana on March 10, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Robert Frederick and Lois Joan (Jumper) Dill. Jody was a life resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1967. She attended Dental Technician School in Texas.
Jody worked for several years as a QMA for the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette. She had also worked in the Meadow Heights Nursing Center in Williamsport. More recently she had been working in the Deli Department of the County Market in Attica.
She was formerly married to Larry Parrish, Donald Smart, Sr. and Howard Lasley. All her husbands preceded her in death.
Jody was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge # 2596 of Attica. She enjoyed watching movies and reading with Stephen King as her favorite author. She had a soft spot for animals.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Marty (Mike) Johnson, and Dedra (Wes) Conkright, both of Crawfordsville; a son, Robert Smart, Attica; a sister-in-law, Kathy Dill, Attica; a dear friend, Marian Smart, Attica; three brothers, Kenneth (Dianna) Dill, Lafayette, Andrew (Cindy) Dill, Romney and David (Amy) Dill, Newnam, GA; six grandchildren, Zach and Cory Edmiston; Jeremiah and Jacob Rice; Kamron and Blake Smart; four great-grandchildren, Macie and Paisley Edmiston and Donald and Alaia Smart. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Alan Dill along with her parents.
Friends may gather at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, September 27th, from 6:00 p.m. until service time at 8:00 p.m.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Rainsville Cemetery, Rainsville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to cover expenses.
