Phyllis’ Obituary Phyllis Ditlevson, 103, Minot, ND, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Minot Health and Rehab. Phyllis Elaine Warner was born March 26, 1916, the daughter of Ernest and Pearl (Tofflemire) Warner, in Norwich, ND. She was raised and educated in Surrey, ND. Phyllis married Glenn Ditlevson and from this union, one daughter, Debi, was born. Glenn passed away in August of 1978. Phyllis lived in a number of locations throughout her life, including La Crosse, WI, Minneapolis, MN and Minot, ND. Phyllis was in photography all of her life, most recently working at Slorby Studio and Rueb’s Camera of Minot. She retired to care for her two grandchildren, Zach and Kenzie, which she thought of as the best job ever. Phyllis enjoyed music, especially gospel music. She sang and played piano. Earlier in her life, she was music director at various churches. Phyllis was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Minot. Phyllis loved her family and was looking forward to the birth of her two great-grandchildren; one to be born in November, the other in March. But her greatest love was for her Lord Jesus. She loved to pray, read her Bible and worship. She had a great faith and left a wonderful heritage to all of her family. Surviving family includes: Daughter, Debi (Allan) Mikkelson, Minot; two grandchildren, Zachary (Jackie) Smith and McKenzie Smith; and her special niece and nephew, Sue and Stan Gibbs and family. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Ditlevson; brothers, Eugene and Donald Warner; and sisters, Marguerite Orwick, Ernestine Hertz and Pauline Lee.
