Michael Richard Fichter, 61, of Calumet City, Illinois, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2019. Michael was born on March 14, 1958 in Chicago, the son of the late Richard and Ann (Malatia) Fichter. On March 10, 1979 he married Pamela Marie Luther in Dolton, Illinois. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of South Holland, Illinois and was a forklift driver. Michael loved fishing. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela; a daughter Melissa; his two sisters, Roseann Fichter and Mary Ross. He is preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Earl and Judy Luther. Arrangements are private.
