Mary Ann Hunter McKeen was born August 9, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to John and Georgia Hunter. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Hunter the 3rd and Charles Hunter. She is survived by one brother, Richard Hunter (Karen) of Sun City, Arizona; three children, Angela Carlson (John) of Greer, South Carolina, Tobie McKeen (Wendy) of Albion, Pennsylvania and Darryl McKeen (Renee) of Lyman, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was a registered nurse, and a devout Christian last attending Joy Lutheran Church in Moore, South Carolina. She previously attended St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Erie, Pennsylvania; Our Savior Lutheran Church in Salem, Missouri; Redeemer Lutheran Church in Greer, South Carolina and Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Greenville, South Carolina. She went to be with God on September 20, 2019. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Joy Lutheran Church, conducted by Pastor Lane Bembenek. Visitation will be held Thursday at the church after the service. The family is at their respective homes.
