Linda Finucan Parker, 71, of Summerville, SC, wife of Michael G. Parker, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at MUSC. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday afternoon, September 13, 2019 at 1 o’clock in St. Theresa the Little Flower. The rite of committal will be private. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda’s name may be made to St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church Building Fund, 11001 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485. Linda was born December 25, 1947 in Summerville, SC, a daughter of I. Edward Finucan and Winifred Gray Finucan. She was a Purchasing Agent for Charleston Southern University. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and liked to fish. In addition to her husband, Michael G. Parker of Summerville, SC, Linda leaves behind her son, William Parker and wife Melissa of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Kimberly Kite of Summerville, SC; sisters, Dreda Rentiers and husband Chuck of Summerville, SC, and Theresa Wofford and husband Chuck of Pinopolis, SC; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
