Leonard Grant Scott, 77, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2019 surrounded by his loving family in Providence, RI. He was born on January 24, 1942 in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Mr. Scott was the son of Otis T. Scott and Effie L. (Grant) Scott. He relocated to Rhode Island and moved to Providence. He was a military man and entered the Army at a young age. Mr. Scott was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was married to the love of his life, Thena (Watts) Scott. Mr. Scott loved his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. He always shared his great wisdom with his family. Leonard Grant Scott will be missed by his all who loved him.
