Leonard Foster, age 80 of Jefferson, died Sunday morning at the Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 21, 1939 in Montgomery, AL, the son of Bailin & Rosalee (Tatum) Ford and has lived in this area since 1995, coming from Cleveland. Mr. Foster was self-employed and installed gas tanks and pumps before his retirement. He attended the Jefferson Church of God in Christ and enjoyed fishing and watching WWE. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Mae Foster, five children, Diane Washington & Larry Foster, both of Tampa, FL, Leonard Foster, Jr. of Jefferson, Cornell Foster of Tampa, FL & Jeffrey Foster of Ravenna, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and six siblings, Larry, Ed, Brenda, Jean, Sadie & Anthony. His parents and a son, Willard and a daughter, Renee preceded him in death. Mr. Foster’s request was for cremation to take place. No services will be held at this time.
