Obituary of June Britt Matelski ST. JOHNSVILLE, NY – Mrs. June A. Britt – Matelski, age 97, of Lacon , Illinois , a native of St. Johnsville , New York , passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Heartland Health Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Illinois . Born June 8th, 1922, in St. Johnsville, NY , she was the daughter of the late Amos and Jessie (Dockstader) Gray. June attended St. Johnsville schools. She married twice, first to Charles Britt thence to Stanley Matelski, both having preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Geraldine Close, Elsie Wood, Vivian Barry, Arlene Avery, Hilda Green, Melvin Gray, Enda McIntosh and Frances Colangelo. There is a small intimate graveside service set for Wednesday, September 11th, 2019, at 10:00 AM, at St. Johnsville Cemetery. All are invited to attend and local surviving family will join us there as well. June and her family care have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street, in St. Johnsville, New York, Funeral Directors Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea and Martin L.
