Geraldine Smith, 76, of Evansville, passed away on September 16, 2019. She was born January 2, 1943 to the late Phillp and Mary Keach. Geraldine was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time playing bingo and poker with her friends and family. Geraldine is survived by her son, Larry (Peggy) Connaway; sister, Phyllis McCarty; brother, James (Trudy) Keach; sister-in-law, Nancy Cones; grandchildren, Brandon, Loni, Samantha and Seth Connaway; numerous step-grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Smith; daughter, Kathy Connaway; son, Lonnie Connaway and brother, Steve Cones. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave., Evansville, 47710. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Billy Thompson officiating.
