Frances M. Haddock-Torres Frances, single and the youngest of the family, was born in San Juan, PR on September 20, 1972. Surrounded by her family, she passed away short of her 47th birthday on the 14th of September 2019 at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa FL. Her parents Jorge and Ilia Haddock also raised Iliana (1965) and Carlos (1968) surviving siblings. Her last residence was the city of Aventura, FL where she practiced as a Health and Wellness Coach, specially for professional athletes. She operated several high-end condo fitness centers. She attended Our Lady of Pilar, a catholic school in San Juan. After graduating she moved to Orlando for her college degree at the University of Central Florida. Then, proceeded to complete her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She was a complete athlete having played volleyball in junior high and track and field in college. An avid exerciser, she visited the gym on a daily basis, which helped her maintain a superb physical and mental condition. She was a yoga and meditation lover, also known for her food concoctions of antioxidants and vitamins. A true Virgo, she expressed profound love and demanded the same. Honesty, responsibility and perfectionism where among her multiple qualities. Breast cancer struck her shortly after hurricane Maria. She had brought a small plane loaded of badly needed supplies to the island and mentioned feeling a small lump in her left breast. Summoned by her physician mother, she underwent biopsies that revealed a highly malignant triple negative cancer. Despite excellent medical attention, the tumor did not respond to multiple chemo-therapies prior and posterior to her mastectomy. According to her wishes, she will be cremated. Funeral services will be held at A Community Funeral Home, 910 Michigan St. Orlando, FL on the 19th of September 2019 from 5 to 8 PM.
