Flora Virginia Shelton, 94, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY. Mrs. Shelton was was a member of Vine Grove Methodist Church. She was born the eighth of ten children on January 16, 1925 in Jonesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, MSG (RET) James R. Shelton; and her parents, Bill & Ollie Williams. Survivors include: One daughter, Kathy Shelton of Denver, CO; one son, Jim Shelton of Vine Grove, KY; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and a special friend, Gail Atcher. Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. A graveside service for Mrs. Shelton will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Miller Chapel Cemetery, Jonesville, VA.
