Degen Chen, 78, of Storrs, husband of Yimei Zhou passed away Friday August 30, 2019 at his home. He was the son of the late Shaobo and Suhua (Feng) Chen. Born on May 5, 1941 in Zhenjiang, China he came to the United States in 2013. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Xinnian Chen and her husband, Daniel Mulkey of Storrs; a brother, Deqing Chen of China, and 4 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Dezhen Chen.
