Christopher’s Obituary Christopher Monreal, 59, of Lebanon, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born October 13, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois, died Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Cedar Ridge Health Care Center in Lebanon, Illinois.. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Monreal, nee Salazar; a brother, Steven Monreal; and two brothers-in-law, Ralph Murillo and Andrew Zavala. Surviving are his father, Gabriel Monreal of Park Ridge, IL; his siblings,Sylvia Murillo of Melrose Park, IL, David (Debrorah) Monreal of Lombard, IL. Mary Grace Monreal of Chicago, IL, Patricia (Mark) Voissem of Glen Ellyn, IL, Monica Monreal of Naperville, IL, and Michael Monreal of Chicago, IL. He was also a dear nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. Condolences may be expressed online at braunfh.com. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, Illinois, with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating.
