Cheryl Mahon “Sissy” Vaughn, 57, passed away on September 23, 2019. A native of Greenville, daughter of Roxie Inez Pruitt Mahon and the late John William Mahon, she was a former employee of Cannon’s Restaurant and a member of Cedar Lane Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Lavern James “Pooh” Vaughn of the home; one daughter, Chasity Antley (Darrel) of Woodruff; one step-son, Billy Vaughn of Greer; two brothers, Mike Mahon (Wanda) of Moonville and Billy Mahon of Greenville and two grandchildren, Cara Vaughn and Alex Vaughn. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
