Walter “Butch” Denzil Butler (Alias “The Dude”)August 12, 1972 – July 31, 2019. Butch was born in Barnesville, Ohio. He attended Englewood Elementary, Ainger Junior High and graduated from Lemon Bay High School in 1992. He served in the United States Marine Corp., received a good conduct medal and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal in 1998. He was a local painter contractor. Butch hiked the Appalachian Trail, loved snowboarding, surfing and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mom: Hazel Bolen Butler, sisters: Mary Ann Butler, Brenda Butler Wright, Rachel Butler; brothers: Bruce (Donna) Butler and Brady (Mary Jo) Butler along with many nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts and tons of cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad: Carl B. Butler and brother Carl G. Butler. Dude (#6) you are sadly missed and gone way too soon. So we wish you were here to make us laugh through the pain! We love you! A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2 – 5 PM at the Englewood Moose Lodge 4212 N. Access Rd. Englewood, FL 34224 with Marine Corps. Honors.
