Trophine Long Dyer of Russellville, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grammy, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a member of Friendly View Baptist church and attended church all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Henry Dyer; son, Thaddeus Allen Dyer; and parents, John and Carrie Long. She is survived by children, Tim Dyer, Teresa Foster, Traci Thomas, Todd (Jimmy) Dyer and Tammy Dyer; grandchildren, Regina Dyer, Wiley Williams, Andy Williams, Jessica Williams, Scottie Vaughn, April Lopez and Charlene Dyer; great-grandchildren, Kayla Clark, Charleigh Williams, Aubrieah Williams; step-great grandchildren, Desiree and David Vaughn, Lorenzo Lopez; sister, Nancy Hopson. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Tan and his staff, Dr. Tracy Dobbs, and the 2ndfloor staff at Johnson city Medical Center for their excellent care. Funeral services are planned for 7:00 pm Monday, August 19, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverends Justin Winstead and Hal Crockett officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00am Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Wright Cemetery in Mohawk, TN. Allen Funeral Home in Morristown is in charge of arrangements.
