Rickey (Rick) Dee Sortor , 58, of West Point, Utah, lost his fight to cancer in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on August 14th, 2019. Rick is survived by his wife Deborah of 35 years, daughters Tyann Peterson (Ryan) and Felicia Crosson (Brody), stepsons Brad White (Tamara) and Brian White. Brother Rusty Sortor and sisters Linda Steed, Carol Hill (James), and Janet Cook (Mark). Grand children Braxton and Zayden White, Brayden, Kielie and Rielie Crosson. Rick was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. Rick loved to hunt and share his hunting experiences with his friends and family. He spent many weekends watching his kid’s soccer games, helping them with their homes, and being a supportive father. He was a man of few words but big actions, always putting others before him. We will forever miss our outdoorsy man who was such a great example for those who knew him. A special thank you to the people at Huntsman Cancer Institute who provided loving care throughout his 7 year fight. The family would also like to thank Rocky Mountain Care Hospice for making Rick as comfortable as possible in his final moments. Graveside services will be on Monday August 19th at West Point Cemetery from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ricky Rick Dee Sortor February 23 1961 August 14 2019 (age 58).
