Judith "Judy" Lepschat, 83, a resident of the Forest grove community passed away on August 20, 2019 at her home.
Judith "Judy" was born on March 13, 1936 in Portland, OR. She was the oldest of two daughters born to Ken and Hazel (Gedrose) Donaldson. She was raised in Hillsboro and attended Hillsboro High School graduating with the Class of 1954.
She met Roland Duyck and they married on January 5, 1957. They made their home in Verboort and had four children; Sandy, Joyce, Wayne and Roger. They later divorced in 1989. Judy married Walt "Babe" Lepschat on December 28, 1998 and they made their home in Verboort on Babe's family farm. Babe passed away on 2010 and it was then Judy moved to Forest Grove.
Judy was a farmer's wife and a homemaker. She enjoyed socializing with her cousins and taking trips to the beach to go clamming. She was in bowling league and enjoyed the holidays with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walt "Babe" Lepschat, a daughter, Sandy Knox, her parents and her former husband, Rollie Duyck
She is survived by her three children and their spouses; Joyce and Albert Vanderzanden of Verboort, Wayne Duyck of Hillsboro, Roger Duyck and his companion Lisa Mulholland both of Forest Grove, her sister and brother-in-law; Marilyn and Jim McGinnis of Kent, WA, nine grandchildren; Josh, Jeremy, Kim, Ricky, Jason, Kelsy, Corey, Weston and Rachelle and eight great grandchildren; Alenna, Trever, Ian, Kaley, Lainey, Brynn, Colleen and Luke.
