On Thursday, August 8, 2019, surrounded by family, Predenice Ann Willis passed away at Mercy Medical Center. Ann was born in Belzoni, MS. She is pre-deceased by her mother and father, DeElla and George Willis, a son, David Eddington, and aunts and uncles, Willie Huddleston of Indianola, MS, Sarah Knight of Gulfport, MS, Ora D. Magee-Lee of Goldsboro, NC, and Curtis Huddleston and Ora Lee Gibbs, both of Springfield, MA. Ann is survived by her life partner, Benjamin Eddington Sr.; five beloved children, Benjamin Willis, Jamar Eddington (Michelle), and Nihgee Eddington, all of Springfield, and Tiekea Eddington-Fowlkes (Brandon Sr.) and Taiesha Eddington of Harker Heights, TX; six grandchildren, Benjamin Jr., Jamar Jr., Tylianna, Tyree, Tyliah, and Brandon Jr.; two siblings, Geraldine Willis and Annie Bell Willis, both of Springfield; two nephews, Todd and Kevin; thirteen aunts and uncles, Abby Hall of Clarksdale, MS, Geneva Barnes of Gulfport, MS, John Huddleston, Jean (and Albert) Carter, Ora Lizana (and Everett Montgomery), and Rosemary Huddleston, all of Springfield. Ann will be most remembered for her kindness and generosity. The calling hour is 9-9:45 am Saturday at her church home, Alden Baptist Church, followed by funeral services at 9:45 with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
