Melvin E Couch, 88 of Avon, Indiana passed away August 1, 2019. He was employed by Inland Steel/Arcelor Mittal 2Ac. He retired August 1, 1992 after 35 years of service. He is survived by wife, Mildred Couch, former spouse Kelly, son, Thomas Couch, Daughter Cathy (Homer) Strain, grandchildren, Jonathan (Julie) Sartain, Brian Sartain, Micelle Couch (Mark Burke), Samantha Couch, Nicole Bean, great grand children, McKenzie Sartain, Lucas Sartain, Noah Sartain. Melvin was a member of Local Union 1010, Loyal Order of Moose, Calumet Ridge, In local 1258. He was also a Veteran of the US Army, Active Service from January 17, 1952 until December 19, 1953 as a CPL. He enjoyed his RV and camping. There are no services at this time
