Julie’s Obituary Julie Ann Brown, 61, of Denton, TX, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in Denton, TX. Julie was born June 25, 1958 in LaCrosse, Kansas to Justin and Myrna Jean (Jones) Urban. Julie is survived by her soulmate, Scott Kinder; father of her children, Bruce Brown of Denton, TX; son, Mathew Brown and wife, Jessica of Argyle, TX; daughter, Jenna Leigh Brown, of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Margo, Sydney and Jack Brown; step-mother, Mary Urban of LaCrosse, KS; sisters, Sherri Herrman of Liebenthal, KS, Tammy Orth of Wichita, KS, Wendy Seltman of Nekoma, KS and Megan Penka of Hays, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Justin and Myrna Jean. Visitation will be held 4:00PM-5:00PM, Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey in Aubrey, TX. A funeral service will follow at 5:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in honor of Julie to Linda McNatt Animal Care Center in Denton, TX at wwwdentonasf.com.
