Johanna Kluger Bobba April 23, 1926 – August 28, 2019 Johanna Kluger Bobba, 93 went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 28, 2019. Although she was born in Poland, she embraced Pfarrkirchen, Germany as home. She was a high achieving junior athlete at soccer and snow skiing. Johanna resided in Pfarrkirchen as a teen and during the allied invasion of Germany, where she met her first husband, GI Chester Chmura, who she married in 1950 after immigrating to the United States. In 1952, Chester Chmura tragically died. Johanna later married husband, Joseph Bobba. In addition to being a homemaker and her husband, Joseph’s, business partner, she had five children whom she is survived by. She is preceded in death by husbands, Chester Chmura and Joseph Bobba; her parents, Josef and Hedwig Kluger. Johanna is survived by sons, Daniel Chmura of Pfarrkirchen, Germany and Alessio Bobba (Jane) of Birmingham, AL; daughters, Johanna Johnson (John) of Pensacola, FL, Veronica Waterholter (Steve) of Fredericksburg, VA, and Dianna Radominski (Mark) of Milton, FL; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pensacola. The family wants to thank Covenant Health Care and Hospice for the loving care they provided. A rosary will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home, September 2, 2019, with a visitation starting at 6:00, and the rosary following at 7:00pm. Mass will be on September 3, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:30, we will leave at 11:30 in procession to Barrancas National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
