Mr. James Edward Clark Jr. passed away Monday at Continental Care and Rehabilitation Center where he had lived since December 7, 2013. He was born in Butte Thursday, September 13, 1951 to James E and Cecilia (Chavez) Clark. James attended the Madison School, East Junior High and Butte High School. He cleaned For Butte-Silver Bow at the corral from 1970 until 1976 and for School District # 1 from 1983 until 2000 and was honored by the school district for his years of service. Jim returned to Butte-Silver Bow and retired in 2013 due to his health. On June 14, 2006 Jim was honored by then Chief Executive Paul Babb for his honorable service to Butte-Silver Bow. He enjoyed hanging out at Maloney’s and Gamers, was an artist with both painting and drawing, enjoyed both reading and writing poetry and had a wonderful sense of humor. Jim was preceded in death by his father James “Snuffy” Clark in December of 1990 and by his mother Cecilia on November 2, 2017. He is survived by his brother Lee Clark as well as several cousins. Mr. Clark’s remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home where friends may call Tuesday morning, September 3rd beginning at 11 o’clock. Funeral services will be conducted that afternoon at 2 o’clock in the funeral home with Deacon Ron Fournier officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
