HARRY RAY SCHWENDER, age 85 of Ocklawaha, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at West Marion Community Hospital in Florida. Harry was a computer specialist and worked at Kennedy Space Center from the 1950’s until his retirement. He moved to Ocklawaha around 2000 from Cocoa, FL and was a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview. Harry was an avid knife collector, liked to fish, and enjoyed traveling to his cabin in Tennessee. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the FENTRESS MEMORIAL GARDENS with a Military Service at Graveside provided by American Legion Post 137. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. HARRY is survived by his: Wife of 40 years, BETTY (CRAIG) SCHWENDER 2 Sons, STEPHEN SCHWENDER TONY HENSLEY and wife CARRIE 3 Grandchildren, NATALIE CARTER ZANE HENSLEY KAYLA CARD-NEELEY Sister, BECKY He is preceded in death by his: Parents-HARRY C. & MILDRED SCHWENDER Daughter- PATTI Son- KEVIN Brother- JOHNNY Jennings Funeral Homes of Jamestown in charge of Services for HARRY RAY SCHWENDER of Ocklawaha, FL.
