Gwendolyn Lois Timms, age 88, of Cumming, GA. passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019. She was born in 1931, to the late Buren and Jeanette Bearden. Gwendolyn was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, R.L. Timms; and brother, Clyde Bearden. She was survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Jimmy Reece; grandchildren, Josh (Megan) Reece, Kati (Phillip) Buchanan, and Lindsey Reece; great grandchildren, Caleb, Ava, Hallie, Cole, and Addy; brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy (Linda) Bearden, and Billy Bearden; several nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Timms will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Donnie Nix and Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow at Holbrook Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
