Edward W. Chambers passed away Thursday August 29, 2019 at Cranford Rehab. He was born in Elizabeth and resided in Edison. He was a retired carpenter for New Jersey Carpenter’s 2212. Edward is predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth Chambers; and one brother Michael Chambers. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Jean Chambers; his daughter Colleen Chambers; His granddaughter Coralee Chambers; a brother Thomas Chambers; sisters Susan Chambers and Patricia Chambers. Edward enjoyed family and friends, playing with his granddaughter and the family dog Murphy. Ed loved family vacations and was a proud and skilled union carpenter. Visitation will be Monday September 2, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services at 6:30 pm, Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Mays Officiating. In lieu of flowers family request donations in his loving memory to your local Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
